Customer Reviews
Got a cool chair
I bought a lounge chair during their holiday sale. It was pretty easy to order online. Took about 3 weeks to get here. The chair is super comfy and looks really nice in my reading nook. No drama with delivery or anything. Just a good experience.
Nice coffee table
Got a marble coffee table. It arrived quickly. Looks good in my living room. No damage. Simple process.
Beautiful velvet sofa, long wait
I ordered the T-arm velvet sofa in emerald green. The ordering process was straightforward on their site, no issues there. Delivery to my place in Seattle took about 8 weeks, which felt long, but it was custom upholstery so I expected some delay. The sofa itself is very well made, fabric feels luxurious, and the color is true to the swatch I requested earlier. Setup was easy; the delivery team handled everything. Customer support was responsive when I inquired about shipping updates, usually getting back to me within a day. Overall, a quality piece, but plan ahead for the lead time.
Reliable for unique pieces
This was my third purchase from ModShop, this time a brass inlay dresser. Like my previous orders (a nightstand and a console table), the quality is consistent. The dresser arrived on time, about 4 weeks after ordering, and was packed securely. No surprises, which is what I appreciate most. Their pieces always have that distinct look I can't find elsewhere, and they hold up well. That's why I keep coming back.
Stylish, but delivery could improve
I purchased a lucite dining table. The design is fantastic and it really brightens up my dining area. Quality feels solid, very sturdy. However, the delivery window was quite broad, and they only gave me a day's notice, which made it a bit tricky to arrange being home. It arrived well-protected though, no scratches. The table itself is great, but the delivery logistics could be a little more precise. Value is good for a unique piece.
Good deal on a credenza
I was looking for a mid-century modern credenza and found one during their seasonal clearance. Got about 15% off, which made a difference. Shipping was free too, which saved me more. The price felt fair for the quality, definitely got a good value. It arrived in perfect condition, well-packaged. Happy with what I paid.

Can you actually return custom orders if something isn't right? Like if the color is off or something? Or are they stuck with you?
Thinking about getting a credenza but worried about the quality for the price. Is ModShop furniture actually good quality or just looks nice in pics? Debating between them and West Elm.
Does ModShop ever do free shipping? Looking at a big bed and shipping is kinda steep. Should I wait for a promo?
Hey has anyone ordered a custom sofa from these guys before? Just wondering how long it actually took to arrive. Their site says a while but curious about real world experience.
Is ModShop the same as Modular Closets? I'm getting confused between the two sites when I search.
